MAKING AN IMPACT TOGETHER
ACROSS COMMUNITIES

About Me

I am an educator, strategist, and community builder with a deep belief in the power of education to drive lasting change. My work lives at the intersection of systems thinking, humane pedagogy, and transformative action. For more than 20 years, I’ve led initiatives in curriculum design, teacher development, nonprofit leadership, and global justice education—always with a focus on inclusion, integrity, and impact.

I bring a scholar-practitioner’s lens to everything I do, combining theory with lived experience to help organizations move from surviving to thriving. Whether I’m coaching educators, supporting nonprofit boards, or designing solutionary curricula, my goal is to make space for diverse voices and co-create systems that are equitable, sustainable, and human-centered.

I have worked across K–12, higher education, and the nonprofit sector, with expertise in language learning, project management, faculty development, and strategic planning. My consulting work grows from this cross-sector experience, offering grounded, relational support to those doing meaningful work in the world.

The Valparaiso International Center (VIC) hosts Natalie Krivas as speaker for their Fourth Friday series on Canada.

SERVICES

Consulting

I help organizations across all sectors strengthen the way they function — structurally, culturally, and relationally. From universities and school districts to family-run and small businesses, and corporations to nonprofit organizations, I work with people at any level or within any role to strengthen structures and communities. This includes:

Designing and launching new programs or refining existing ones

Guiding organizational shifts, strategic planning, or restructuring

Improving team communication, workflow, and collaboration

Facilitating difficult conversations with respect and clarity

Leadership Development

Leadership is something you practice, not something you inherit. I create spaces — in person and online — for leaders to grow in impact, self-awareness, and purpose. This includes:

Leadership Series & Communities of Practice: Long-term faculty learning communities, cohort-based leadership groups, and reflective practice circles.

Executive & Individual Leadership Coaching: One-on-one coaching for leaders navigating complexity, decision-making, conflict, transitions, or purpose-driven growth.

Strategic Leadership Workshops: Sessions on systems thinking, values-based leadership, humane pedagogy, team culture, or organizational change.

Virtual Leadership Learning: Hybrid and online formats for leaders who need flexibility without sacrificing depth.

Workshops, Presentations & Retreats

Interactive, research-informed experiences that reconnect people to purpose — and move them toward action. Formats offered:

Presentations on leadership, humane pedagogy, global citizenship, solutionary thinking, or systems change

Workshops that blend real-world stories, research, and practical tools for teams or educators

Retreat Design & Facilitation for teams ready to pause, realign, vision forward, or repair trust
